The main function of Auto hub is to bear the weight of vehicle and provide accurate direction for hub transmission. The hub is a very important safety part which will bear the axial load and the radial load. 

To adapt to service needs on the vehicle the hub bearing became an assembly. Hub assemblies have gone thru four generations of change. Each generation has its own characteristics based on construction of the bearing. This can range from dual row angle contact ball bearing to taper bearings depending on the carrying capacity needed.
